Euro 2012 Kits-Part I

We told you that the kits would be flooding in, and they sure are! Here are Russia, Poland, Uruguay, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Switzerland’s kits!

First off we have adidas’ latest creation for the Russians. Overall the template is quite cool with a sweet looking collar that is new for the 12/13 season. Unfortunately, I am not a big fan of the color of the kit as it does not highlight the cool elements of the template. The blue and white stripe going across the kit is not my cup of tea as well. Hopefully Russia’s away kit will be an improvement!

Ukraine’s adidas template looks great! Along with the Russia kit, it features another interesting collar and some cool designs. The design along the front of the kit is fantastic, the amount of detail adidas have put into it is great and it is kit the Ukraine should be proud of. Something very interesting that we have spotted in this picture is the TechFit logo. This proves our speculation that Powerweb is going to be removed from the TechFit kits and Formotion most likely won’t be an option anymore.

Nike have made quite a good looking kit for Poland who will be hosting the Euro 2012 Tournament along with the Ukraine. Personally I think the red kit looks better as the placement of the white horizontal stripe looks more natural, however it is a bit boring. The placement of the red stripe on the white kit is very unique though and makes the kit very interesting. My favorite part about both kits is the number placement. We have seem number placements on the front of jerseys in a couple of different places but never here. I think it looks very cool and helps make the hosts of the Euro 2012 tournament unique.

Although Uruguay are not in Euro 2012, we thought we would show you their latest kit as it is a great one! Puma have done a great job with their kits for next season with what we have seen from the African Cup of Nations kits and the ones already released for Euro 2012. The Uruguay kit is quite plain, but the detailing is fantastic. The sun on the top left (our view) looks fantastic and is a genius bit of detailing. When watching Uruguay play Chile, the kit looked fantastic and seemed to be a lucky omen for Luis Suarez as he scored 4 goals.

The kits just get better and better for Puma. We at Soccer Reviews have decided that this Czech Republic kit is one of our favorites of all time. As mentioned earlier the detailing Puma have used for their new kits is fantastic. The placement of the little squares and the vertical blue stripe is perfect and make this kit one of a kind.

The last kit we have for you is Switzerland’s Puma Home kit for the 2012. Again it is a fantastic looking kit. These Puma templates are just brilliant, unlike Adidas Nike or most other kit brands, Puma have gone with a quite simple approach with all the kits looking quite standardized. The only thing they are changing are the small ‘cut out’ designs that feature a special symbol from the country. This gives the kit a great and unique effect without making them too flashy. Great job again to Puma who have really been stepping up their game recently!
