ASPERO TEC AND ASPERO CLASSIC

From the country that gave us Puma and adidas, a young company has set itself up to ‘develop a football boot which can score more goals’. Welcome to Aspero.
The football boot is the most important tool to any player, and Aspero have made it clear in what they want their football boots to be. “Through our innovations and newly advanced football boot technologies, every football player shall be able to advance their individual and playful strengths to improve their personal level of football play.”
After hours of testing with professional and amateur players, Aspero have attempted to develop the perfect boot through a mix of innovation and technology. So what have they produced? The Aspero Tec and the Aspero Classic.

The upper of the boot is perhaps one of the most unique things about both the Tec and Classic. Instead of going down the regular path of using a k-leather upper when creating leather boots, both Aspero models are made from just one piece of Nappa leather, which is commonly used in High Street wallets and diaries. The upper has also been processed with a rough mixture of rubber and minerals to achieve more grip even on unfavorable field conditions. This mixture of rubber and minerals is important to ensure that the Aspero isn’t any old leather boot or going down the road of Pantafola D’Oro or Joma. The Aspero uses Neokick technology, which involved the Ball Control and Touch Control elements. The former involves two tension control plates integrated into the laces to offer an enlarged area to control the ball (aiding ball control) and a clean area to hit the ball (so a larger sweet spot). The later relates to the rubberised forefoot (the white strips of rubber) that offers greater grip in wet conditions and to get more curve on the ball when you strike it.

Considering the boot is made from the soft Nappa leather upper and is lined with suede on the inside of the heel, all signs point to the Aspero developing a seemingly comfortable boot. Add to that the control and striking elements of the boot, it’s something that’s unheard of in a k-leather boot and it gives the Aspero a bit of an edge over it’s competition (Pantafola and Joma). Plus several Bundesliga players also endorse the German boot.
It sounds like a brilliant boot, but it isn’t cheap. The Aspero Classic and Tec (the difference between the two being the Tec having a softer insole board and the Classic a harder one) are only available in mainland Europe for €199 and are available on Aspero’s website.
