Confirming the Wiki-Kit Leaks we brought to you way back in September are the Brazil kits for 2012. These shirts will be worn for the Olympic Games football tournament that is due to be held in six venues across Great Britain, from 25th July to 11th August 2012.
Introduced first as a medal sport at the 1908 Olympic Games, the sport has featured at every Olympic Games since, with the exception of Los Angeles 1932. Interestingly Brazil have never won Men’s Olympic gold, the closest they have come is Silver in Los Angeles 1984 and Seoul in 1988. They have a similar record in Women’s Olympic competition, finishing as runners-up at the last two Olympics (2004 & 2008) to the United States on both occassions.
