There’s nothing that sets a die-hard soccer cleats fans’ tongue wagging like an all-white or all-black prototype, which makes Puma’s decision to release a limited edition version of the Puma PowerCat 1.12 in an all-white colourway a real marketing master-stroke.

After being used by the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Joey Barton and Manchester United and England’s Phil Jones in the run-up to the new PowerCat’s reveal, the white-out Puma PowerCat 1.12 has become an unlikely symbol of the revolution sweeping Puma’s soccer cleats department.
With all the top-techy features of the Puma PowerCat 1.12 still intact, the triple-white limited edition is essentially just another colourway – but when Puma say these are limited edition, they really mean it!
Only 50 pairs of these soccer cleats will be made available to the US, with Europe also receiving a similarly-stingy allocation – meaning you’ll have to act fast to get your mitts on a pair.
At $180, the limited edition version of the latest Puma soccer cleats are no more pricey than the (admittedly stunning) White/Blue/Gold launch colourway, so if you fancy something really different from your next pair of boots, they could well be worth a look!
