PUMA V1.11 – FLUORESCENT PINK/NEW NAVY/WHITE

The V1.11 has performed well in the speed catagory despite being up against the Vapor and F50 ranges and boasts some of the games deadliest goal scorers with the likes of Sergio Aguero, Radamel Falcao and Mario Gomez all wearing a boot that incorporates premium lightweight technologies. Having released five previous colourways, Puma have now unveiled their second white based colourway -  Fluorescent Pink/New Navy/White .

BOOT SPOTTING 3-4 MARCH

We start this week with arguably the biggest boot spot of the weekend. Jordan Henderson was used by Umbro to launch their Geometra Pro boots and has been one of their marquee players since. This weekend however Henderson wore Nike’s control boot, the CTR360, when Liverpool played Arsenal. Whether or not this is a permanent move we are not sure but it would be a big surprise as it would be a major blow for Umbro – who are owned by Nike.

NIKE PORTUGAL 2012 AWAY KIT

Portugal’s new away kit draws inspiration from the country’s adventurous seafaring history and famous explorers.

The away jersey is white with a large cross on the front — a revered national symbol that was emblazoned on the sails of Portuguese ships. The half-red, half-green cross is divided diagonally at the center to represent the Armillary Sphere, a Portuguese national symbol for 500 years and also found on the nation’s flag. Another Armillary Sphere symbol can be found inside the jersey’s neck.

BOOT SPOTTING 25-26 FEBRUARY

Ryan Giggs played his 900^th game for Manchester United this weekend and it was the Welsh veteran who popped up with an injury time winner to keep the champions in touch with City. Giggs has been wearing a leather Reebok boot, that are not available in store. We have seen both a White/Red and White/Blue colourway of the boot which we believe to be custom colourways of his limited edition RG800 boots. This weekend however Giggs celebrated his 900^th appearance with a White/Gold pair.
