The Adidas AdiZero has changed the face of football boots design – first with their lightness and now with their ‘brain’ since the launch of the MiCoach AdiZero. Following on from this, Adidas have launched their new Rugby Union cousin – the RS7.
The new RS7 lands in a stunning Blue/Slime colourway and is the same as the previous model and takes all the elements that made the AdiZero such a success in soccer but added some rugby specific extras. The SPRINTSKIN single-layer synthetic upper with TPU support bands and sprint frame make this the lightest rugby boot ever. The upper has a synthetic print added to medial forefoot is to increase control when kicking.
The only change to the RS7 is the new soleplate. The soleplate features the same Traxion stud shape with a mix of molded Traxion studs and exchangeable aluminum studs as the previous model but now incorporates MiCoach like the new football AdiZero and has a slightly different look to it. We must say that we think this is a great looking colourway and reminds us of the Blue/White/Slime AdiZero prime. The RS7 has found its way onto the football field before and with a colourway like this we are sure they will again.
