Midweek Boot Spotting: 16th November

That’s it all over… our heads now turn to December 2nd where the draw for Euro 2012′s group stage occurs! A night of frantic action where Portugal sealed their qualification in emphatic fashion provided us with a plethora of great boot spots to choose from. Here we go!

Joachim Low (Germany) – adidas Predator adiPower
Most managers tend to wear a standard pair of trainers or boots, but Germany’s coach, Low, has opted for the latest Halloween adiPowers! He’s not the only coach who wears the Predatorline as Mourinho also makes the odd appearance in a pair of adiPowers – most recently spotted in the latest DB version!
Ninkovic Milos (Serbia) – adidas adiPure IV SL
You know that any adiPure SL spot is a something of a diamond discovery for us, and Serbia’s Milos provided the joy for us this week! It’s such a shame that most professionals prefer to stick to the normal adiPure.
Elvir Rohamic (Bosnia & Herzegovina) – adidas F50 adiZero
Yup, you are seeing Messi’s adiZero; the golden edition that was released at the start of last season! Maybe Rohamic likes to sport a bit of “bling” now and then?
Kirati Keawsombut (Thailand) -Nike Mercurial Vapor V

Seriously, half of Thailand’s team turned out in boots that left us scratching our heads, AKA great boot spots! Here, Keawsombut is in a pair of the Orion Blue Nike Mercurial Vapor V.
Unknown (Thailand) – Unknown
Same story: these boots are somewhat of a mysterious boot to us and  although they remind us of an old Laser colourway, we suspect they are a boot only available within Asia. Does anyone know what boot this is?
Victor Valdes (Spain) – Penalty S11 Ultra
After signing to Penalty’s roster only a week ago, Valdes was spotted training in these blackout boots the other day. We’ve taken the plunge and assumed he is in the S11 Ultra range, but who really knows?
Christian Benitez (Ecuador) – adidas Predator Absolute
The far flung corners of the globe always provide us with a haven of boot spots, and Benitez is testament to that – rocking up in a pair of blackout Absolutes… we think. If it is, then this is definitely our spot of the week.
Luis Saritama (Ecuador) & Walter Vilchez (Peru) – adidas Predator adiPower
Two custom adiPowers on show here! We’re just going to throw this out into the wind and say that Saritama is wearing the SL version, but it’s hard to tell with his whiteout pair! Vilchez on the other hand is sporting a great Red/White pair which matches Peru’s kit perfectly.
Chucho (Ecuador) – adidas adiPure III
We’re not entirely certain that Chucho is in a pair Yellow/Black of adiPure III boots, but it’s the best guess we have at the moment.
Marlon Fella (Suriname) – Nike Mercurial Vapor Elite

Dutch legends Edgar Davids and Patrick Kluivert hailed from Suriname, and Fella chose to sport the Elite Vapors from last year’s World Cup, and we aren’t ones to complain – we always love a World Cup boot spot and Fella was the “fella” this week!
