ADIDAS JAPAN HOME KIT 2012

It may not be off-season for a Kit to be released and for the international teams in Europe their kits for Euro12 have already been released, but Japan have today released their Home Kit for 2012, all of you may not agree with me but it look stunning what do you think:

The 28th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations will kick off on January 21^st as 16 of the continents best teams via to be the best in Africa. With a new tournament comes and new ball and Adidas have released a teaser ahead of the new ball’s release on January 2^nd.

BOOT SPOTTING 26-27 DECEMBER

With Christmas over the Premier League squeezed in a round of games before the new year. There was Christmas cheer for some but other were left hoping for a better 2012. On display as usual were some of the best boots – which we are sure many of you wished were in your stockings.

One player that will certainly be hoping for a better 2012 is Chelsea forward Fernando Torres. A change of clubs hasn’t brought out his best nor has the new Red/Black/White T90 Laser IV K-Leather colourway – perhaps 2012 will see Torres back to his best.

Some great spots here today. The lower version of the up coming Vapor VIIIs, the Victory VIIIs. to day we have the Hot Orange colorway, that was leaked a long time ago.

Since their inception, adiZero models have held the crown for the best speed boots on the market. adidas’ latest creation, the adiZero miCoach had huge ‘shoes’ to fill. Contrary to popular belief, the new model has not simply undergone a paint job with the addition of a chip at the bottom from prior incarnations, rather whole scale changes have been made to the adidas F50 adiZero MiCoach football boots for the better.

BOOT SPOTTING 20-21 DECEMBER

With December’s trademark hectic schedule in full swing the Premier League treated us to some thoroughly entertaining football midweek. As usual the boot spots were as exciting as the football action and Futbol Blog ET has brought you the best from Premier League.

The weekend was all about new Nike colourways and it was once again the new colourways grabbing our attention.Clint Dempsey was in the Volt colourway Superfly III over the weekend but turned out in the new Purple/Silver colourway midweek as Fulham hosted Manchester United.

ADIDAS LA GALAXY HOME PRIME FOOTBALL

Adidas have unveiled a special Prime ball which will be used exclusively by the LA Galaxy for all their home games next season. MLS Cup Champions will use this shinny version of the new Prime football next season as they defend their title!

The adidas Prime ball has the same design features of the new Tango 12 with a series of triangular panels thermally bonded together to ensure a true, stable flight path. Covering each panel of the ball is a grip texture which supports boot to ball contact and enhances ball control. Beneath the outer surface of the ball lies a woven carcass and a new bladder for increased air retention and reduced water uptake.

BOOT SPOTTING 17-18 DECEMBER

Although the new colourways caught the eye, not everyone was wearing new colourways. We were a little surprised to see that Fulham star Clint Dempsey was still in the Volt colourway as he is one of Nike’s main Superfly wearers in England.

NIKE ALTERNATE COLOURWAYS

Along with the launch of their main colourways, Nike has launched a set of support colourways for the T90 Laser IV, CTR360 Maestri II and Mercurial Superfly III. The new collection is set to make their on field debut this weekend and although expect to see most Nike supported players wearing the main colourways, we are sure some will opt for these alternate colourways.

The new T90 Laser IV Dark Grey/Solar Red/Black colourway doesn’t seem to go with any kit however this K-Leather version screams Manchester United or Liverpool. We know Wayne Rooney won’t be in this Red/White/Blackcolourways – despite them being a perfect match for his Nike Manchester United kit.

Although we’ve had it up on our YouTube page for a few days, we thought we’d post it on the site for those that haven’t seen it yet! We hope that you find it useful and that it answers any questions or doubts you may or may not have regarding the water bath treatment. 
We must stress the fact that the water MUST NOT be too hot as it will remove the coating that allows the ball to stick to your feet at high speeds. This coating is not present on all synthetic boots however, but it is present on the Mercurial line.

NIKE PRESENT NEW BOOT COLOURWAYS

Nike unveil their new collection of football boot colourways ahead of the holiday period. All their silos receive a colour update and we must some of them are truly eye-catching.

WIKIBOOTS: CTR360 III (FIRST IMAGES)

It’s been (arguably) the one boot that adidas has failed to keep up to Nike with. It’s one of our favourite boots that are going around at the moment, and Nike know that they are going to have to pull out all the stops when they update it to compete with a new rival in the market. Introducing the all new CTR360 Maestri III.
From the start, it’s easy to see that this boot has been given more than a fresh lick of paint. There’s certainly more to this boot than the update between the CTR360 I and the CTR360 II. It’s a fresh update of virtually the whole boot.

BOOT SPOT: UN MATCH AGAINST POVERTY

For 90 minutes, the old magic was (partially) renewed as the likes of Luis Figo, Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane teamed up with still-active superstars like Didier Drogba and Michel Salgado to deliver an absolute goal-fest against a spirited Hamburg SV team.

The game finished at 4-5 to the UN All-Star team, but the real winners were projects on the Horn of Africa, who will benefit from every penny made by the Match Against Poverty.

Nike also unveil a collection of new colourways around this time of year so we expect colourway updates for their boots in the next few weeks. Wayne Rooney hasn’t had much luck in his T90 Laser IV boot recently but did grab a brace against Wolves.

MLS MATCHBALL - ADIDAS PRIME

It’s out with the old and in with the new as MLS heads into 2012. A new expansion team, a new schedule, a set of new jerseys and now you can add a new official match ball to the list.

MLS and adidas on Tuesday unveiled the new adidas PRIME, which replaces the adidas Jabulani ball beginning in 2012. Designed exclusively for MLS, the adidas PRIME was created to improve on “accuracy, consistency and performance” under all field and weather conditions, according to adidas.

SR F50 MICOACH LEATHER FIRST IMPRESSION

As the boot of choice of some of the best players in the world, and arguably the best player in the world Lionel Messi, my excitement when I received the adidas F50 adiZero MiCoach was justified.

The first adiZero leathers are my favorite boots that I’ve worn to date, so coming into this review I have big expectations. Unlike usual First Impressions posts, I thought I would give you a slightly more detailed post for those of you who are thinking of buying the MiCoach F50 before Christmas. Here’s how it went.

BOOT SPOTTING 3-4 DECEMBER

This weekend’s Premier League action once again delivered some great action with 30 goals being scored. It also threw up some very interesting boot spots. Check out our latest collection of boot spots from this weekend’s action.

We have featured Gareth Bale before in our boot spots but this weekend saw his boots get some added attention (not something Adidas will bemoan). Bale opened the scoring for Spurs and quickly whipped of his boots to reveal a ‘RIP Garry Speed’ tribute to the late Wales manager stitched on the side of his AdiZero MiCoach boots.

PUMA KING FINALE – WHITE/TEAM ORANGE/DARK NAVY

Having seen their V1.11 and more recently the new Powercat 1.12 grabbing all the attention, Puma now shine the spotlight on their King Finale boots with the release of their newest colourway – White/Team Orange/Dark Navy. The Puma King is the oldest boot silo and has been one of the great performers within the game of football, despite their continuous re-invention.

Yesterday adidas and UEFA unveiled the Official Match Ball for the UEFA EURO 2012 – the Tango 12. The ball was unveiled on stage during the UEFA EURO 2012 finals draw by former Ukrainian Olympic pole vaulter Sergey Bubka.

ADIDAS ORLANDO PIRATES 75TH ANNIVERSARY JERSEY
